update on my life i guess since this is a blog
I find my academic endeavors to be progressing uncontrollably slow, no matter the extent of my eager influence.
I have found comfort in this process by starting other projects that can bring more immediate results like organizing a conference of entrepreneurs, software engineers, and valuable business resources for college students to use for their startups in need of collaboration and guidance. StartupWeekend will run at the U of A February 12-14.
Currently seeking funding for pre-detailed experiments to run in neurogenetics, sensory supplementation, and conscious perception, as well as funding for software infrastructure schematics in brain-machine interface technology.
I’ve landed an apprenticeship with Dr Stuart Hameroff, the director of the Center for Consciousness Studies at Banner University Medical Center here in Tucson. We are currently organizing the Spring 2016 Science of Consciousness Conference where plenty of workshops and published abstracts will be presented and available for the people in attendance. April 25-30.
I do not plan to update extensively in the future, for there will be no need.
Putting in mediocre effort & getting above average results brings such a curious realization to mind. What sorts of capabilities are possible with extensive effort & relentless focus. To what extent can an effect be mass produced.
